CHANDIGARH, Nov 12: The managing director of Rahul Sales, Onkar Anand, was today granted bail by UT Chief Judicial Magistrate Sant Parkash in a case registered at Delhi.

Directing Anand8217;s release on furnishing a personal bond of Rs 20,000, along with a surety of the like amount, the CJM further directed him to appear before the Metropolitan Magistrate8217;s court in Delhi on November 30.

A case under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code was reportedly registered against him on September 9 by the Delhi Police at the S.N. Puri police station. The complaint had been lodged by Modi Alkalies and Chemicals there.

Today, seeking his release on bail, the defence counsel contended that Anand was a respectable resident. The counsel added that he would appear before the Metropolitan Magistrate at Delhi.
