Science exhibition
Antonio D8217;Silva High School at Dadar has won the over-all trophy at the junior level in a G N Ward-level Science exhibition for schools organised from November 30 to December 2. Bal Mohan school at Dadar won the over-all trophy in the senior category. The exhibition, hosted at Victoria High School at Mahim, was based on the topic Meeting the Challenges of Life Through Science and Technology8217;. The inaugural function was graced by scientist Dr Jessica Diego while Lalita Deshpande, a language expert and bio-chemist was present on the last day.
Festival on birds at Virar
National English High School at Virar is organising a week-long science festival titledThe Wondrous Winged World8217; from December 5 to 13. It offers a peep into the features of bewitching birds and exhibits 40 models of birds in their appropriate background. Curator of Nehru Science Centre, Worli, Anul Manekar will inaugurate this festival.
Theatre for charity
Make-a-Wish-Foundationof India is putting up Padmashree Kalyanji8217;s 8220;Little Wonders8221; at Nehru Centre from December 9. Camp in wildlife sanctuary
Sanskruti Children8217;s Club has organized a camp to Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary situated in the north of Karnataka on the banks of river Kali for 5 days on December 24.
