CHENNAI, April 6: Despite being one of the cities with largest Internet subscribers in the country, Chennai has been denied digital connectivity which ensures faster and hassle-free access. Though VSNL had announced several months back that it would provide digital connectivity through exclusive 2 mbps streams from major exchanges in the city, no steps have been taken to implement it where as in Delhi, Mumbai, Calcutta and Bangalore this facility was introduced long time ago.
