Dharnas mark protest day
Hartal, dharnas and processions in different parts of the country today marked the observance of Protest Day by several Opposition parties against the Centre8217;s recommendation for imposition of President8217;s rule in Bihar. Addressing a rally in Patna on the occasion, Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Laloo Prasad Yadav termed the recommendation as 8220;undemocratic8221;.

15 killed in HP bus accident
At least 15 persons were killed and one person was seriously injured when a private mini bus belonging to Dhani Ram, skidded off the road on the Mandi-Kullu National Highway and plunged into the Beas river, about 9 km from Mandi this afternoon.
