Haryana bans sale of mustard oil
The Haryana Health Department has imposed a ban on the sale or distribution of mustard oil in loose with immediate effect under the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954.Announcing the ban here today, a Health Department spokesman said the Health authorities have banned manufacture of mustard oil in the state for sale or distribution in loose. Meanwhile, five cases of dropsy were reported from Solan district in Himachal.

Prasar Bharati Ordinance
Even as the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting finally let it slip today that the Prasar Bharati ordinance was cleared by the Union Cabinet on Wednesday, CEO S. S. Gill said he would be going to court against his removal.
