It will be a case of winner taking all at the ICC Champions Trophy to be held in England in September this year. The ICC today said while the winners will pocket a prize money of US525,000, the runners-up would have to be satisfied with what they receive for their semi final effort and no more incentive for reaching the final. 8216;8216;The runners-up will not gain anything extra,8217;8217; ICC president Ehsan Mani said while announcing the launch of the 12-nation event via a teleconference today. The total prize money for the biennial extravaganza will be 1.15mn. The winners of the group stage will earn 50,000, while the semi finalists stand to gain 125,000. The winner8217;s cheque will be 300,000.
