Cell operators seek TRAI intervention

Cellular operators have sought the telecom regulator8217;s intervention to withdraw 8216;predatory8217; limited mobility tariffs by BSNL and also asked for a personal hearing with the TRAI on the crucial matter.

8216;We request the authority8217;s urgent intervention to withdraw the predatory BSNL tariffs and also ensure that BSNL does not indulge in any anti-competitive practices,8217; Cellular Operators Association of India COAI director general, T V Ramachandran has stated in a letter to the TRAI.
