Celebrations mark Shaurya Divas

PATIALA, May 17: The local unit of Bharatiya Janata Party celebrated 8220;Shaurya diwas8221; day in different parts of the City to hail the successful test-firing of nuclear devices by India. Patriotic songs were played in and party workers distributed sweets. District BJP president Pitambar Dutt, city president Balwant Rai, Anil Bajaj, Chander Bhan, Deep Chand Gupta, Ashutosh Gautam, Rajinder Pal Bansal and Arun Gupta were among the prominent BJP leaders who participated in the celebrations.
