A one-day seminar on international marketing was organised by Sinhgad Institute Of Management SIOM on March 12. The programme began with a welcome address by S P Raykar, director SIOM. The seminar was inaugurated by Satish Tandon, managing director, Alfa Laval India Ltd. B B Nimbhore, director general of all management institutes of STES presided over the function.

The first session was presided over by G J Pherwani, followed by D V Lonkar, Milind Oka, P C Nambiar and Lt Col S K Roy. Shrikant Bhojkar, managing director, Bhojkar Impex Ltd chaired all the proceedings of the day.

SIOM has also arranged a faculty development programme in marketing management on March 23 and 24 at its Executive Conference Hall. This programme is open to faculty members of management institutes. The speakers for both the days include Dr Dilip Sarwate, Parag Shah, Dr Subhash Bhave, Dr Bs Ks Chopra, Olive Nerulkar and P A Sukhatme.
