They are a girl’s best friend and if you ladies are planning on making some new friends, step in at Sant Ram Mangat Ram Jain Jewellers (SRMRJJ) in Sector 17 that’s rolled out a ‘Volcanic Wedding Collection’ exhibition’. The five-day exhibition (September 30 to October 4) showcases over 250 jewellery pieces designed especially for the coming wedding season by SRMRJJ. The exhibition includes sets, bangles, bracelets, pendant sets, chandelier earrings, cocktail rings with prices ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 25,00,000. A unique feature of this exhibition is that it’s a “talking exhibition” where every piece pronounces its complete details like cut, colour, clarity, weight, hours of production, metal used and the cost. Another attraction of the show is the exquisite Christie’s Copy. One of the rare masterpieces, the lovely piece is adorned with pure white diamonds of very high clarity and F colour, accompanied with golden marquise cut diamonds and boasts of a man hour production time of over 625 hours. Says Samir Jain, Director, SRMRJJ, “The Volcanic Wedding Collection Exhibition is a one of its kind event in the city. The collection has been specially designed with different pieces coming from different parts of the country. We have handpicked and included individual specialities of various states in the collection. The designs are especially suited to the sensibilities of the modern bride.”
