Booking affected at ISBT counters

CHANDIGARH, Sept 29: People coming for reservation at the inter-state bus terminus ISBT had to face a lot of harassment due to a software snag that had badly affected the functioning of the booking counters, here today.

While the officials asserted that the snag was removed after three days today, only one of the five counters at the ISBT was working in the afternoon. Officials claimed that the breakdown was only for a short while and added that work had progressed normally since morning.

Already due to shortage of staff, only five counters have been functioning for the past few months now.
