Two actors who8217;ve been spending a lot of time together, lately, are Manoj Bajpai and Tabu. Caught up with them at Mehboob Studios on Friday, where the talented twosome were shooting for Ghaath. While Tabu looked resplendent in a bright red sari which seemed to hide the several kilos that she8217;s put on recently, Manoj chose a simple cotton shirt and jeans. Tabu, who8217;s replaced Raveena Tandon in the film, has also walked into Hansal Mehta8217;s Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar once again opposite Manoj when Juhi Chawla opted out at the eleventh hour. The two actors, who seem to get along famously on the set, hardly spent any time in their respective make-up rooms, choosing instead to chat endlessly even during lunch break. Guess who walked in around noon? Milind Soman did. And Tabu, who, apparently is good friends with the model, abandoned Manoj and yakked non-stop with Milind all day.

Jumping on to the movie-making bandwagon is good ol8217; Jeetubhaiyya. Yes, yesteryear8217;s popular actorJeetendra is now turning film producer. Wife Shobha and daughter Ekta have already produced a bunch of successful serials on telly, now the family is venturing into film-making. Not surprisingly, they8217;ve hired the services of podgy director David Dhawan to helm their first movie which will feature Govinda and Sushmita Sen in leading roles. At the launch of the film at Sahara Studios recently, Jeetendra cracked a joke at his own expense when he said that his young daughter had made more money in the last eight months, than he had in the last 35 years. Funny man David, not one to let his producer have the last laugh, kept the guests in splits each time he addressed Ekta Kapoor as quot;Madamquot;, causing her to blush.

Meanwhile, Jeetuji8217;s laadla beta Tushar is all set to be launched as an actor by producer Vashu Bhagnani in a film directed by Satish Kaushik. Lots going on in that home, huh?

Also caught up with ravishing Rekha on Saturday. The glamorous goddess who was shooting for PrakeshMehra8217;s Mujhe Meri Biwi Se Bachao at Hotel Kings in Juhu, was politeness personified even as she was attacked with a barrage of questions from the fourth estate. The very fit actress who will play the grossly overweight wife of Naseeruddin Shah in the Harry Baweja-directed film, said quot;It was very easy to put on weight for this role. It was a lot more difficult to shed it. In fact, I8217;m still in the process of losing all that excess weight.quot; Dressed snazzily in a shimmering black outfit with a long slit that showed off her long legs, Madame Re seemed perfectly at ease, although she did refuse television interviews.
