Aamir Khan “dedicated” an afternoon to his physical trainer, Satyajit Chaurasia, who helped him sculpt his body for Ghajini. Flanked by bodyguards, the actor invited friends to the Barbarian Gym, Versova, introduced everyone to the trainer and talked about how they had worked out for 13 months to achieve the results desired by the director AR Murugadoss. A 10-minute video traced the body sculpting, showing the gradual changes in the actor’s body. “I hated it in the beginning but didn’t want to let my director down,” said Khan. Meanwhile, the trainer let on that Khan’s yelps — when he was made to do a dozen push-ups — were heard even in the restaurant above the gym. “If Aamir bhai didn’t follow my instructions, I would simply give him a tougher exercise set. That used to drive home my point,” laughed Chaurasia. When questions about the six-pack abs of the other two Khans were thrown at him, the actor turned politically correct. “I am not competing with anyone here and did what was required for my film,” he replied.
