CHANDIGARH, Dec 3: Ever marvelled at the circular black discs that produce melodious tunes at the prick of a needle ? Gramophone is a collector’s pride and for those who had always longed to own one are in for some good news. The object d’art is just one of the many products on display and sale at the Product Expo `98, being held at hotel James Plaza.
The exhibition, which opened today, has been organised by the Blue Chip Expositions, a division of Blue Chip Communications and would be on for four days. Mink blankets, hand painted suits and various other consumer products are on sale. The main attraction is the antique goods stall, which has alarm clocks and telephone sets.
The chief promoter of the exhibition, Sanjeev Pubra said that Chandigarh was a rapidly growing commercial market and such exhibitions helped the consumer to identify the products, which were brought to them directly by the manufacturers. Product Expo’ 98 is being sponsored by Hyundai mink blankets and others.
