SOLAPUR, Oct 8: Former member of Bharatiya Janata PartyBJP 8216;s national council and industrialist Ambadas N Bolli died here of a massive heart attack late Wednesday evening.

Bolli was 65 and is survived by wife, five sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.

A staunch BJP man, Bolli had resolved not to wear chappals till the erection of Ram Mandir is completed at Ayodhya. Former vice-president of BJP8217;s Solapur city unit Bolli was also vice- chairman of Solapur Nagari Bank.

He was admitted to the hospital by his doctor son, Vyankatesh, after he complained of chest pains. He, however, did not respond to medical aid, his family sources said.

Former BJP MP Lingraj Valyal, BJP city unit chief Col. Prabhakar Landge retd, former mayor Narayandas Rathi, corporator Shankar Vaggu, Vitthal Konda, Ramchandra Jannu and other senior party members and dignitaries paid their last respects to Bolli at the Padmashali Samaj crematory on Thursday morning.
