BJP blames Cong for illegal bars

“It is shocking to know that instead of the Excise Department taking action against the restaurant, Excise Minister Mahinder Singh Saathi is trying to pass his responsibility to the Delhi Police by saying that it was their job to check illegal bars,” Mukhi said.

He said that it was the business of the Excise Department to make sure that no illegal bar was being run and for this purpose, the Department has its own staff and the police are also under its direct control. “Saathi cannot escape responsibility for illegal bars being run in the city,” Mukhi said.
