
NEW DELHI, JANUARY 24: The ongoing talks between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Biju Janata Dal on seat-sharing for next month8217;s Assembly elections remained inconclusive on Monday.
The leaders of both parties held two rounds of talks with Union Home Minister L K Advani here on Monay. They plan to meet again on Tuesday.Working president of the BJD, Bijay Mahapatra, said after the meeting that the talks were progressing well, 8220;We hope to clinch the issue soon.8221; Orissa BJP president Manmohan Samal was confident of coming to an amicable understanding in this regard.
The State Assembly has 147 seats.
