
MUMBAI 8212; Gold prices plummeted to a four-year low of Rs 4365 due to heavy selling pressure on the bullion market. In London, the yellow metal fell sharply by 7.35 per troy ounce and was fixed at 325.20 compared to 332.55 yesterday. Silver also nosedived by Rs 105. Standard gold declined to settle at Rs 4365, showing a fall of Rs 35. Similarly, 22-carat gold also eased by Rs 35 to Rs 4035. Ten-tola gold fell sharply by Rs 400 to finish at Rs.51,100 from the last level of Rs 51,500.
