
Canexpo pays 10 maiden
MUMBAI: Canbank Mutual Fund has declared a maiden and interim dividend of 10 per cent for its Canexpo Scheme and the dividend is tax free in the hands of the investors. The fund has announced the book closure from December 6 to December 8, 1999 for the purpose of payment of the dividend. The scheme is the first ever sectoral fund in the mutual fund industry in India launched by Canbank Mutual Fund as a close ended scheme in 1994. The scheme was converted as open-ended with effect from May 15, 1999. The scheme has been rated as one of the best performing growth schemes in the industry today.
Risk management seminar in city

Colour-Chem meet on process safety
MUMBAI: Colour-Chem Ltd, a subsidiary of Clariant in India has organised a workshop on process safety for Asia, in association with Clariant Corporate ESHA. The workshop which is being held in Goa from November 22-25 is being attended by plant managers, plant engineers and ESHA specialists from Clariant associate companies in Asia. The workshop is designed to promote the implementation of Clariant corporate guidelines for ESHA.
Kotak MF dividend for K30 scheme
MUMBAI: Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has announced a dividend of Rs 2 per unit in its K 30 scheme. K 30 is an equity scheme investing generally in not not more than 30 stocks. The record date for eligibility has been set at December 11, 1999 which is the first anniversary of the launch of K 30. Investors who enter K 30 during the period from November 22, 1999 to December 11, 1999 but exit between December 12, 1999 and February 29,2000 will be charged an exit load of 1.5. K 30 is a portfolio concept which relies on 30 chosen shares.
