Bihar boy released after a fortnight

Another abducted student in Bihar returned home on Saturday after spending a fortnight in captivity. Nalanda Police Superintendent A.K. Ambedkar said Ravikant, a student of DAV School, returned to his Biharsharif residence this morning. He was let off by his captors at Biawan village last night.

Ambedkar said acting on information provided by seven persons, including a constable, who were interrogated yesterday, a team went to Biawan and put pressure on the abductors.

Ravikant8217;s father admitted he had received a ransom call for Rs 25 lakh but no money was paid.
