Indian ace Mahesh Bhupathi and his Swedish partner Jonas Bjorkman got themselves just a step away from clinching the doubles title in the $2.3 million Kremlin Cup ATP tennis championship by moving into the finals in Moscow.

The top seeded Indo-Swedish pair overcame a tough second set battle to tame Zimbabwean duo of Wayne Black and Kevin Ullyett in straight sets in the semifinals yesterday.

Bhupathi and Bjorkman won the contest 6-2, 7-6 (8-6) to set the title clash with Russian pair of Ivor Andreev and Nikolay Davydenko, according to information received here today.

Andreev and Davydenko cruised into the finals after getting a walkover from Leos Friedl and Radek Stepanek in the second last four match.
