“Dor had already given me so much – and now this award too. It vindicates my belief that awards like Screen are genuine. To me it means a lot to be present at the show and return with a trophy… This trophy is like an incentive to do better roles and concentrate on better films and quality work. I must thank Nagesh for giving me this role and thinking me worthy of it, and also my mom for all her strength… Even in the scorching 50 degrees heat of Rajasthan she was like a pillar, uncomplainingly always by my side.”

Khosla Ka Ghosla
Savita Raj Hiremath, Ronnie Screwvala

“I have won over 70 awards in advertising especially for our “Girl Child Adoption” campaign. But this is my first film award. Cinema is turning out to be the new passion of my life. This award makes me stronger for the future, it gives me the strength to create good cinema. Khosla Ka Ghosla had a lovely story, it was well produced, well executed. It was providential that the release of the film was delayed by three years, the audience was ready to receive the film only now.” Savita Raj Hiremath.
