PUNE, July 30: Going by the centralised admission rules for first-year BCS admissions, 50 per cent weightage is given to marks in maths and physics at the HSC or equivalent examination, and 50 per cent weightage given to the BCS entrance examination 8217;99 score. The entrance score is doubled up while calculating the aggregate total.

Marks of students who have appeared from boards other than the HSC Board, are reduced to a score out of 100. For example, if a student scores 80/100 in maths, 80/100 in physics and 51 at the BCS entrance examination, his aggregate total should be 160102, that is 262 out of 400. Interviews begin from August 5, for reserved category students, and from August 9-12 for open category, serial number 1-1050.

If students fail to submit the demand draft and required forms at the interview, no extension will be granted. Students must report to the college allotted within 3 days of issue of the admission letter.
