DHAKA, JANUARY 21: India8217;s leading duo Ashok Kumar and Rahil Gangjee emerged on top the six-team second SAARC Golf championships sponsored by Bharat Petroleum.

Ashok, whose play in the last five holes 8212; four over for that stretch 8212; was patchy, finished on top in individual scores with the two-day aggregate of five-over 149. Tissa Chandradasa, who carded the day8217;s best of 75, grabbed second spot with 150. Rahil Gangjee, who in the first few holes looked like challenging Ashok for the individual title, fell to pieces in the stretch between tenth and 15th 8212; he bogeyed three and double bogeyed one hole.

A birdie on the 14th and another on the 17th saved his day and helped him close at five-over 77 and an overall third position with an aggregate of 150. Tissa8217;s better second round pushed him ahead of the Indian.
