Another TV channel gets notice

The I038;B Ministry has issued a show-cause notice to Hindi news channel Aaj Tak over a 8216;misleading8217; report aired during their coverage of the Mumbai terror attacks. Sources in the ministry confirmed the notice was issued over the nature of the channel8217;s coverage on the terror attacks. This is the second news channel to get a notice served on its Mumbai attacks coverage. Earlier, the ministry had issued a similar notice to India TV for airing a conversation between two terrorists. This newspaper had reported that more channels could come in the firing line for their coverage and more show-cause notices may be in the offing.
