In yet another case of suspected abduction in Bihar, a class IV student went missing in Jehanabad district even as 10 people, including four belonging to the dreaded Chunnu Thakur and Vicky gangs, were subjected to interrogation in connection with Kislay’s kidnapping today.

Ranjan Kumar, a student of Diamond Public School, was suspected to have been kidnapped on January 28. His guardians had lodged a police complaint apprehending abduction of Ranjan for ransom.

Ten people, including mother and sister of Vicky, the alleged right hand man of gangster Chunnu Thakur, now lodged in Hajipur jail, were subjected to marathon interrogation in Patna.

Claiming a breakthrough had been achieved in the Kislay kidnapping case, police said the abducted boy was likely to be rescued in a day or two. —PTI
