MOGA, Aug 18: The All-India Sikh Students Federation has fully endorsed the stand taken by Punjab Chief Minister and Shiromani Akali Dal over the inclusion of Udham Singh Nagar in Uttar Pradesh and strongly opposedany move of the Centre to include it in the proposed Uttaranchal state.

This was announced by Harminder Singh Gill, president and Karnail Singh Peer Mohammad general secretary at a joint press conference at Moga last evening after the meeting of the Moga district unit of the All-India Sikh Students Federation.

They also stated that a high-level deputation of All-India Sikh Students Federation would meet Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee in New Delhi tomorrow and submit a memorandum to the prime minister in this respect.

The leaders said that the federation had decided to celebrate the 54th annual foundation day of the federation at Moga in a big way and would launch an anti-drugs drive throughout the state.
