Sangli, JUNE 11: Top seed Aishwarya Jadhav showed no mercy, as the Kolhapur girl outwitted Pune8217;s Anu Bhagwat 6-0, 6-0 to win the girls under-12 title of the Bharati Krida Academy State Ranking tennis tournament being played at the Amrai Club courts here today.

Only three matches could be played today, after the afternoon rain forced the organisers to put off most of scheduled matches for tomorrow. Playing on expected lines, Aishwarya Jadhav did not drop a single point and won the title comfortably.

In the girls under-14 semi-finals, Nashik8217;s Sheetal Gupta defeated her city mate Priya Paskavde 9-2, while another Nashik girl Ashwini Borade also registered an identical scoreline win over Pune8217;s Tanushree Kulkarni.Girls U-12 final: Ashwariya Jadhav Kolhapur bt Anu Bhagwat Pune 6-0, 6-0.

Girls U-14 Semi-finals: Sheetal Gupta Nashik bt Priya Paskavde Nashik 9-2; Ashwini Borade Nashik bt Tanashree Kulkarni Pune 9-2.
