AHMEDABAD, Oct 5: News Services Division of All India Radio, New Delhi, for the first time, will air a 36-hour live round-the-clock programme, Verdict-99. The programme aired from New Delhi will be anchored by eminent media personalities and carry news updates on the general election results from AIR correspondents from 100 cities.

AIR will be the only news organisation to cover the general elections this time on such a wide platform. The updates will be available over phone and Internet worldwide. The site can be browsed on allindiaradio.com and latest news about election news can be received by calling 3324242 Hindi and 3324343 English.

Verdict-99 will be in Hindi and English with hourly newscasts.
