It turns out there8217;s nothing a Mac can8217;t do. Rolling Stone magazine joined hands with Reliance Digital8217;s iStore on Monday to host a workshop on using Apple software to create music. Loy Mendonsa8212;of the Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy trio8212;known for spinning magic on the synthesiser, demonstrated the uses of Apple8217;s 8216;Garage Band8217; to an audience comprising of the likes of Luke Kenny, Ehsaan Noorani, Gary Lawyer, Uday Benegal, Punjabi rapper Hard Kaur and several young, amateur musicians who interacted with Loy and his son Shane.

Editor Radhakrishnan Nair looked evidently pleased with the whole event.

Showstopper The demonstration is part of a series organised by 8216;Amplify Your Music8217;, Rolling Stone8217;s initiative to encourage interactions between professional and amateur musicians.
