70-yr-old murdered in Rohini

NEW DELHI, June 3: A 70-year-old man was reportedly found murdered at his residence in Kamdhenu Apartments, Sector-9, Rohini, last evening. Deena Nath Dutta8217;s body was reportedly found lying on the floor by his grandson yesterday.

Dutta8217;s grandson had reportedly gone out for some time. When he returned he found the body lying on the floor. He immediately informed his father Vinay Dutta, a Canara Bank employee.

The family initially assumed that he might have died after falling on the floor. However, when one of them noticed blood on his neck and back, they informed the police. It is suspected that the 70-year-old was attacked with a screwdriver. The Rohini police have registered a case of murder.
