NEW DELHI, June 26: Two girls, one 12-year-old and another five years younger, reportedly disappeared from their Sector-7, Pocket B, house in Rohini under mysterious circumstances two days ago.The police said investigations so far have not indicated that the girls have been kidnapped, ``The girls' parents did not voice any suspicions in this regard. Therefore, we have registered a missing persons complaint so far'' said a senior police official. Meena, 12, and Monika, 7, were last seen on Wednesday around noon. Their father, Om Prakash, who owns a garment shop in the Sadar Bazar market, was away at work when the girls left for their grandmother's house in Sadar Bazaar. And their mother, Lajwanti, was inside the bathroom at that time.The girls reportedly told their younger brother that they were going to visit their grandmother. Lajwanti told the police that when she called up her mother in Sadar Bazar two hours later, she found that the girls had not reached the place. When the family failed to ascertain the whereabouts of the girls till evening, they contacted the police.According to a senior police official, investigations have not made much headway because the family has not been cooperating. The police are also trying to ascertain how the girls were allowed to travel to Sadar Baazar all by themselves.
