2 arrested for murder

Bhattacharjee 23, a resident of Sinthi More, was found dead with multiple injuries in a gunny sack under the bridge. His relatives had accused three of his friends of abducting and murdering him.

The youth had been missing since December 17. His family claimed to have received two calls from his mobile demanding Rs 3 lakh as ransom.
