14 more NIFD centres launched

CHANDIGARH, June 11: With the launching of 14 more centres in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh, the National Institute of Fashion Design NIFD has spread all over the country with as many as 40 centres. It was set up in July 1995.

The new centres launched include those in Mohali, Phagwara, Moga, Ferozepur and Hoshiarpur in Punjab, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal and Panipat in Haryana and Shimla in Himachal.

NIFD offers career opportunities to students in fashion, textiles and interior design.
