Katrina Kaif recently revealed her struggles with self-image issues during a conversation with beauty icon Huda Kattan. In her YouTube series In Conversation with Kay Beauty & Huda Kattan, Katrina discussed her insecurities, particularly regarding body image.
The actress shared that although she promotes self-love through her beauty brand, she still experiences self-doubt. She admitted to feeling insecure about her physical appearance, especially when she feels she has gained weight. Katrina explained that her husband, actor Vicky Kaushal, plays a crucial role in helping her manage these difficulties.

“I’ll be sitting and talking with my husband or getting ready for an event, and I will be complaining about something about my physical appearance or saying I am not happy with the way I look and have gained weight. I am not comfortable,” Katrina admitted.
Vicky, always a calming influence, helps Katrina regain her confidence by reminding her of her message of self-love. He often asks her, “Aren’t you the one who keeps telling everyone it’s okay to be you?” This gentle reminder helps Katrina reflect on her beliefs and apply them to herself.

Dr Madhur Rathi, Consultant Psychiatrist at Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital, Noida Extension, explained that positive support from partners is crucial when individuals experience self-doubt because it fosters a sense of assurance and confidence.

Their encouragement can help reinforce trust in one’s abilities and decisions, countering negative self-perceptions,” Dr Rathi said in an interaction with indianexpress.com.
