Swara Bhasker’s walima outfit ‘came all the way from Lahore via Dubai-Bombay-Delhi, finally to Bareilly’

Her heavily embellished gold-beige lehenga set featured embroidered patterns in hues of green, pink, and blue. She wore the voluminous lehenga skirt with a matching blouse and ivory-coloured dupatta adorned with paisley motifs. For accessories, she opted for an exquisite choker, a sheesh patti, jhumkis, kadas and a nath. Fahad, on the other hand, wore a matching ochre kurta and pyjama set with a white jacket, which she styled with a golden shawl.

Prior to this, the couple had shared a glimpse of their haldi ceremony, followed by mehendi, sangeet, Carnatic vocal recital and Qawwali night, and the reception.

For the reception, the Veere Di Wedding star wore a stunning pink and red lehenga featuring golden embroidery all over, by designer-duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. She teamed the look with a maang tikka, a heavy necklace, jhumkas, rings and bangles. Fahad complemented his bride in an ivory and golden sherwani that he accessorised with brown-toned juttis.

For their haldi, Swara donned a lime green kurta set with a light-yellow dupatta. For accessories, she opted for a silver oxidised maang tikka and colourful dangling earrings. She kept her makeup minimal for the occasion. Meanwhile, the Samajwadi party leader wore a plain white kurta set.

Similarly, for their mehendi ceremony, the actor sported a bright orange kurta set with a brocade border and intricate embroidery. She paired the look with heavy jewellery, including a statement ring, a golden maang tikka and earrings. Styling her hair in a tight bun, she adorned it with a lovely gajra. As for makeup, she opted for bright red and orange tones. Fahad stepped out in a blue shirt with a white Nehru jacket.

For the Carnatic music recital, the actor wore a red sari with a golden border by Raw Mango with a striped blouse. To complete the look, she opted for a matha patti, embellished hair accessories, dangling earrings and a nose ring. On the other hand, Fahad kept it simple in a Nehru jacket and a pastel blue shirt with jeans.

Last but definitely not the least, the couple complemented each other’s looks for the Qawwali night. While Swara sported a black velvet finish embellished kurta with a matching duppata and juttis, Fahad wore a black kurta with floral embroidery. The actor accessorised the look with a nathani, huge earrings, and a passa.
