It’s not unusual to spot celebrities togged in outfits by the same designer whose show they are attending at fashion week but this was special.

Hollywood actor Rosario Dawson, who is in India for the launch of WEvolve, an initiative to end gender violence, took part in Manish Malhotra’s Lakme Fashion Week show, wearing separates from his latest collection. Pairing a navy blue crop top with a lilac full skirt that had embroidered panels, the actor pulled off the look in a charming way. The make-up was subtle and the diamond jewellery was a good match.
