Arora asks how people can reach her for help; Devi smiles and says to simply keep helping the way they already are
Everyone carries their own set of challenges, but every now and then, you meet someone whose strength puts your worries into perspective. Actor and model Mallika Arora experienced one such moment and shared it on Instagram, where she posted a video of her interaction with a 52-year-old woman working as a delivery agent.
In the clip, Arora is seen speaking to the woman, and what immediately stood out to her was that the woman had a physical impairment. Arora asks, “Aap kya karte ho? (What do you do?)”, to which the woman replies, “Main Zepto, delivery ka kaam karti hoon (I work as a delivery agent for Zepto).”
Noticing a walking stick on the scooter, Arora continues, “Do you have any problem with your legs?” The woman calmly responds that she is “50 per cent handicapped”.
Arora asks for her name, and she replies, “Veena Devi.” She mentions that her age is 52 and adds that she has been working since last June. The exact date when the video was shot could not be verified.
“Aur agar aapko kisi ne help karni ho toh approach kaise kare? (And if someone wants to help you, how should they reach you?),” the actor asks. Devi smiles and replies, “Bas aise hi help karte rahiye (Just keep helping like this). Thank you!”
Arora tells the woman that she is proud of her before turning the camera on herself and reflecting on the encounter. “Seeing her made me realise how easily we complain. This is the first time I’ve witnessed something like this. Please guys, stop crying. Life is very precious,” she says.
The caption of the post reads: “She didn’t deliver an order… she delivered inspiration.”

The video has since gone viral, inspiring many with Devi’s resilience. People filled the comments with messages of admiration. Zepto itself commented, “Proud of her.”
One user wrote, “Hatts off to u mam. Aurat sab kr leti hai agar thaan le to (A woman can do anything if she decides to).”
Another commented, “Bas aise hi help karte rahiye — the dignity!!! What’s our excuse?”
A third person shared their own experience: “I once met a Blinkit delivery guy whose hands didn’t work properly. I gave him a 300-rupee tip because of how hardworking he was. The happiness on his face was priceless. I felt so good being able to help someone who truly deserved it.”
A fourth user added, “She doesn’t need anybody’s help… that’s why she is working. Such an inspiration, Aunty.”
