Aarya 3: Sushmita Sen looks sharp, focused as she learns Kalaripayattu, watch video

Bollywood actor Sushmita Sen will be seen next in the third installment of the popular web series Aarya.

Actor Sushmita Sen seems to be pushing the envelope for the new season of Aarya by learning the Indian martial art form Kalaripayattu.

In a video posted by Sushmita, she is seen practicing with Kalaripayattu trainer Sunil. The actor expressed gratitude in her caption as she wrote, “You are amazing Sir #Sunil @cvn_kalari. Huge love & respect for you and the Art of #kalaripayattu. Here’s to us & the preparation for #aarya3.”

Sushmita Sen has been working hard for the upcoming series, despite having suffered a heart attack earlier this year. The actor was shooting for Aarya 3 when the health scare occurred.

Sushmita’s Aarya co-star Vikas Kumar, who plays the role of ACP Khan, revealed that he along with other actors also got to know about the heart attack through social media. In an interview with News 18, the actor said, “Unfortunately, Sushmita Sen suffered a heart attack. We didn’t know at first about it…In the beginning, even she didn’t know what happened. Tests were done and all. She finally came to know that it was a heart attack, and that’s when she shared it on Instagram. Till then, none of us, actors, knew about it. That’s how it should be because otherwise, it becomes noise. She didn’t want it that way. She wanted to tell the world herself.”

Besides Aarya 3, Sushmita Sen will also be seen in the series Taali. She will be seen playing the role of transgender activist Gauri Sawant. The series is directed by Marathi filmmaker Ravi Jadhav.
