Ustaad Bhagat Singh first glimpse: Pawan Kalyan promises his ‘performance will be a blast’

Pawan Kalyan will be once again seen donning a police officer's uniform in Ustaad Bhagat Singh. His last film was 2022's Bheemla Nayak, in which he incidentally played a cop as well.

Actor Pawan Kalyan will soon be seen in a rowdy avatar in director Harish Shankar’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh. The first glimpse of the film was released on Thursday, showing Pawan as a cop, who seems to in the system but also against it.

The teaser starts with Ghantasala’s rendition of a verse from the Bhagavad Gita: “Whenever righteousness is threatened, unrighteousness is rampant, at such times in every eon I manifest myself.” We then get visuals of a hot-headed police officer (played by Pawan Kalyan) in action. Towards the end of the promo, the actor promises his “performance will be a blast.”

Ustaad Bhagat Singh is Pawan Kalyan’s first release this year. The glimpse of the film was unveiled at Hyderabad’s Sandhya theatre by Pawan’s fan Satish.

Director Harish Shankar expressed his gratitude for the reception the first glimpse received in the theatre and said, “I am humbled by your love for the glimpse. I have been waiting for 11 years to make a film with Pawan Kalyan after Gabbar Singh. The glimpse and the film are a product of my hunger and enthusiasm to associate with him. It is for the same reason I am dedicating this glimpse to fans.”

Ustaad Bhagat Singh also stars Ashutosh Rana, Gauthami, Naga Mahesh, and Temper Vamsi in pivotal roles.
