Prabhas Movie Salaar, Day 3 Box Office Collection: Prabhas-starrer Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire made a groundbreaking entry into the box office on Friday, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan to claim the throne as the biggest opener of 2023. Despite a dip in earnings on Saturday, the film regained momentum on Sunday, accumulating Rs 64.07 crore in India, bringing its total domestic collection to an impressive Rs 211.12 crore.

Salaar Day 3 box office collection in India and worldwide has been robust in the first weekend. The Prabhas-starrer commenced its box office journey on Friday with an outstanding Rs 90.7 crore, outperforming Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which earned Rs 89.5 crore on its opening day. However, Salaar experienced a 37 percent decline on Saturday, collecting Rs 56.35 crore. Fortunately, it bounced back on Sunday with a more than 13 percent increase, reaching Rs 64.07 crore. In all languages, the film earned Rs 209.1 crore.

The global gross collection for Salaar is an impressive Rs 402 crore, as per the makers. With this, the Prashanth Neel directorial demolished another Jawan record as the SRK-starrer earned Rs 384.69 crore gross at the worldwide box office after three days, as per the film’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment.

Additionally, Salaar secured the third position on the Comscore chart, trailing behind Jason Momoa’s Aqua Man and The Lost King and Timothee Chalamet’s Wonka, and surpassing Dunki, which claimed the fourth spot. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared the news on Twitter, mentioning that both Salaar and Dunki made it to the Global Christmas weekend Top 10. He wrote, “Expecting production house estimates for.. #Salaar 3 days WW Gross – ₹ 375 Crs.. #Dunki 4 days WW Gross – ₹ 215 Crs.”


Salaar is fiercely competing with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, which released a day prior to the Prabhas-starrer. Dunki earned Rs 31.50 crore on Sunday, bringing its total domestic collection to Rs 106.43 crore.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. The film, produced by Vijay Kiragandur, is set to be released in two parts: Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire and Shouryaanga Parvam as Part 2.
