Rajinikanth to attend NTR’s centenary celebrations in Vijayawada, confirms Balakrishna
It is said that Balakrishna will be hosting the event, which will be attended by other leading stars of the Indian film industry.

A grand event to celebrate 100 years of Telugu icon Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, fondly known as NTR, is set to take place in Vijayawada on April 28. It is confirmed that Tamil superstar Rajinikanth will be attending the event. NTR’s son Nandamuri Balakrishna, in a video, confirmed the same. On top of that, Telugu Desam Party chief and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu will also be attending the function, according to Balakrishna.
In the video, Balayya also invited fans to come and take part in the celebrations. He said, “The NTR centenary celebrations will take place on April 28th under the chairmanship of Janardhan, and it will be celebrated as a festival. Along with me, N Chandrababu Naidu, the National President of the Telugu Desam Party, and Rajinikanth will attend the event. You are all invited to join us and make it a grand success with your presence.”

It is said that Balakrishna will be hosting the event, which will be attended by other leading stars of the Indian film industry.
NTR, who also served as the CM of united Andhra Pradesh for seven years in three terms, has a demigod status in the Telugu-speaking states. The actor-turned-politician acted in over 300 films and has won multiple State and National awards. He is well-known for playing Lord Krishna in over 17 films including Sri Krishnarjuna Yudham (1962), Karnan (Tamil, 1964) and Daana Veera Soora Karna (1977).
Nandamuri Balakrishna played his father NTR in the two-part biopic N.T.R: Kathanayakudu and N.T.R: Mahanayakudu, which were directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The films, however, failed to meet the expectations of fans much to the disappointment of Balayya.
