The results of the Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have shown both the strengths and weaknesses of regional parties. The elections have also demonstrated that the BJP can continue to expect to expand wherever the Congress remains the main opposition party
Officials said the move to allow the CBI indicates that if irregularities are found in the award of contracts by the TDP regime, Jagan won’t hesitate to seek a CBI probe against Naidu and his colleagues in the previous government.
The TDP chief's deliberations are part of his efforts to unite non-NDA parties and bring them together on one platform to stake their claim for next government formation in case the NDA fails to get the majority mark.
“We welcome not only the TRS but any party which is against the BJP. We welcome all such parties to be a part of our grand alliance,” Naidu told reporters, when asked whether a Congress-led grand alliance will join hands with the TRS.

Chandrababu Naidu was also present at the 22nd edition of CII Partnership Summit, which was organised to showcase investment opportunities in ‘Sunrise Andhra Pradesh’. Several MOUs are expected to be signed during the Summit.
