Krushna Abhishek claims The Kapil Sharma Show makers called him back: ‘Baat paise par hi aakar atki hai phir se’
Krushna Abhishek, in a recent interview, claimed The Kapil Sharma Show makers called him back but the talks once again fell flat.

Ever since Krushna Abhishek quit The Kapil Sharma Show, there have been speculations about his comeback. The actor, now in an interview, mentioned how the makers had indeed approached him sometime back but the discussions ended at his remuneration.
In an interview with the Bombay Times, Krushna shared, “Yes, I received a call from the makers of TKSS recently. They wanted me back. However, we couldn’t reach a conclusion owing to monetary and contractual differences for the second time. Baat paise par hi aakar atki hai phir se.”
Krushna added that while he won’t make a comeback soon, he’s hopeful to return next season. “Kapil and Krushna together again will be a treat for the audience, won’t it?” he added.
While Krushna Abhishek played multiple characters on the show, it was his portrayal of Sapna that got him rave reviews. His interaction with celebrity guests as Sapna often left audiences in splits. Having been part of the show for close to four years, the actor decided not to return when the show’s new season dropped last year. He had back then also cited contract issues for his absence from the show.
In the same interview, he also spoke about his equation with Kapil Sharma and Archana Puran Singh, and how they have grown closer. “I have missed being a part of TKSS. I am quite attached to Archanaji (Archana Puran Singh) and Kapil. I have had a 15-year-long association with Archanaji. I must admit that I wasn’t close to Kapil when I joined the show, but now that I worked and spent time with him, I have grown extremely fond of him,” he added.
Earlier, speaking to indianexpress.com, Krushna Abhishek had shared that while money is important, he’ll never do ‘anything and everything’ only for it. He also dismissed the buzz that he had asked for an exorbitant amount from the makers. The actor said, “I am very happy. I have worked with the show for more than three years, and it has given me a lot. Even after being part of the industry for 10 years, the show was what kickstarted my second innings. And we managed to hit it out of the park, and how. Everything worked so well. What becomes worrisome is to keep rejuvenating the emotions and the characters.”
As already reported by us, The Kapil Sharma Show will soon take a seasonal break and come back with a new format and cast.
