Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 contestant Shalin Bhanot feels ‘taking little pangas with Salman Khan on Bigg Boss’ is his most fearful memory: ‘Thankful he didn’t hit me’

Further, Shalin revealed that he is doing the show majorly for Abhishek Kumar. For the unversed, Shalin and Abhishek worked together in Bekaaboo and the two became best friends while working on the show. Abhishek also claimed that he convinced Shalin a lot to take up Khatron Ke Khiladi. The Bigg Boss 17 runner-up also jokingly added that he could use Shalin’s English speaking skills to charm and make a girlfriend in Romania.

Reacting to this, Shalin responded, “Yes, Colors and Abhishek partnered to convince me to come. Every second day he would call me and ask me to do the show. It is more for him also. Getting a Romanian girlfriend is the only task on his mind, that is the only stunt he wants to do. Our competition also only lies in that. We both are single, but I hope we don’t fall in love with the same girl. That will be dangerous. (Laughs).”

Talking about how prepared he is for the new season of Khatron Ke Khiladi, Shalin shares, “I don’t know what will happen, I am not at all prepared. I am not a person who loves adventure and I am scared of everything. So for me, it will be just to go with the flow. My idea is to last one day every day. I don’t think physical strength matters at all. It is about probability, presence of mind, and a lot of luck. Mental strength helps in keeping yourself calm, but I am not someone who can stay calm. It is more about hoping that the lion doesn’t eat you, how would any physical or mental prep help? If a snake has to bite you, it will.”

Shalin is yet to sign his official contract and he shall do the same on Monday. Since it has just been a few days since he has been locked on the show, the actor also has no idea about his visa or other formalities yet. Shalin also recalled he had attended the Bulgaria season of Khatron Ke Khiladi as a guest. This time, he wishes to do a car-related stunt that he had missed doing during his little stint with the show in Bulgaria. Talking about being around Rohit Shetty, Shalin says, “I love the thought of being around Rohit sir and the team. The stunt team is one of the best in the world. Doing stunts that are of Rohit Shetty’s calibre is like a dream come true. I feel like I am a part of Singham.”

Lastly, when asked Shalin if the Bigg Boss experience has helped him get strong mentally, the actor disagreed and shared, “No, it hasn’t. Bigg Boss is a place that is a myth, a fiction and it’s created in a certain manner for certain reactions and actions to be done which is not seen normally. Because I went to Bigg Boss, I earned a fanbase which is like family, I call them Shalin Ki Sena, it is huge and they love me.” Khatron Ke Khiladi is reportedly said to air by the end of June. This year the Colors TV show is being shot in Romania.
