Munawar Faruqui looked like he was in it to win it when he walked through the door of the Bigg Boss 17 house. His shayaris, his game at the start was much loved, just like his friendship with Mannara Chopra. However, Bigg Boss 17 was not a bed of roses for Munawar for long, as his personal life became a hot topic of discussion on the show. Things further went downhill for Munna when his rumored girlfriend Ayesha Khan entered the show, accusing him of cheating on her. This incident affected Munawar’s game, and in that bargain, he lost a good friend in Mannara.

Later, his friendship with Ankita Lokhande went kaput due to differences of opinion in a task. Recently, Munawar opened up about how Mannara made him feel uncomfortable when she tried to kiss him. Throughout the season Mannara Chopra has been the queen bee of Bigg Boss 17. While she failed to ‘vibe’ with many, her journey has been one crazy roller coaster ride. Unfortunately, Mannara did not make many friends on the show, her rivalry with Ankita has continued till the very end, but it didn’t faze her. While not having ‘real’ friends didn’t seem to affect Mannara much, she did feel heartbroken when her and Munawar’s bond was impacted by Ayesha’s entry. However, continuing with her ‘don’t give a damn’ approach, Mannara has made it to the Bigg Boss 17 finals. With smear campaigns and questionable equations, she still stands tall as he gears up to walk out of the show one last time on Sunday. Sister Priyanka Chopra’s shout-out will definitely help when it comes to Mannara’s chances in Bigg Boss 17 finale.

Actor Abhishek Kumar came across as very pretentious and rowdy on the grand premiere of Bigg Boss 17. To add to his troubles, the past baggage of a relationship with co-contestant Isha Malviya only made things difficult in the beginning. But perceptions changed for Kumar when he had an emotionally breakdown at Samarth Jurel’s entry. While some fans saw glimpses of Gautam Gulati in him, others also pointed out how he reminded them of the late Sidharth Shukla.

Abhishek’s journey was emotionally exhausting, and what became a highlight was the moment he slapped Samarth and had to exit the show. Luckily, he got a second chance and now as he stands amongst the top 5, it is to be seen if the audience will forgive some of his actions and make him win the title.

Though many might feel that Arun is not a deserving candidate for the Bigg Boss 17 grand finale, all would agree that he has been the most sassy contestant this season. With his savage comebacks and an inactive stance, Arun has played a safe game. He has taken the same route that Bigg Boss 16 winner MC Stan did. With not contributing as much as the others, Arun had a journey of his own, he did not form bonds that were temporary but would walk out of the house with friendships for life. But will the trophy accompany him?
