Ajay Devgn says Karan Johar was once his ‘sworn enemy’, reveals how he handles Ranveer Singh: ‘Either I shut him off or…’

Karan then asked Ajay, who will be collaborating with Ranveer again in Singham sequel “And he’s the opposite of you, Ajay. How do you handle that?” The actor shared, “Either I shut him off or I shut my ear.” This reply made Karan laugh.

Karan then asked some rapid-fire questions to Ajay. “Ajay is never spotted at parties because?”, the actor said, “I’m not called anymore.” Karan then asked, “Never papped at the airport because?” “I don’t call them,” shared Ajay.

Ranveer featured in answers as Karan asked who changes dialogues during a take, has a meltdown prior to difficult scenes and goes bonkers at the wrap party of a film.

Karan also asked Ajay, “In the Devgan household, what would be the most common reason if Kajal is not talking to you?” The actor replied, “Waiting for that day.”

Karan was also ‘shocked’ when Ajay named him when asked who is his sworn enemy in Bollywood. For the unversed, Karan Johar and Kajol’s friendship hit a rough patch in 2016 when there was a box office clash between Karan’s film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay. It got ugly and Kajol sided with her husband, going as far as tweeting about it all. Karan talked about it in his biography, An Unsuitable Boy, and wrote, “I wouldn’t like to give a piece of myself to her at all because she’s killed every bit of emotion I had for her for twenty-five years. I don’t think she deserves me. I feel nothing for her anymore.” The two patched years later after Karan welcomed his twins.
