Actor Aamir Ali recently opened up about finding love once again after his divorce from Sanjeeda Shaikh. Aamir and Sanjeeda got married in 2012; the couple got separated in 2020, and the divorce came through in 2021. Aamir has been very private and always refrained from talking about him and Sanjeeda parting ways. However, recently, in an interview with Bombay Times, Aamir opened up about his divorce and also confirmed being in a new relationship for the last five months.

Aamir spoke about his divorce and shared that he was not in a good spot. While his otherwise non-controversial life became complicated, it took him some time to get back. He also shared that nobody around him could understand what was happening to him, but all of it is in the past, and Aamir states that he is a better person now. Aamir and Sanjeeda also have a daughter together, Ayra, who was born in 2018. In the interview, Aamir revealed that he is not even in touch with her.

Aamir also explained that even though he has refrained from talking anything about his ex-wife in public, people have been speculating and writing whatever they wanted, which he unfortunately could not control. He also opened up about his newfound love, revealing that he has been in a relationship for almost 5 months now. The actor who was rumored to be dating Ankita Kukreti, sparked off dating rumors after he was spotted with a mystery girl recently. Talking about his lady love, Aamir said that he is getting to know someone after a very long time. He says that he is finally moving on and is enjoying being in this phase.

While he confessed that he never gave up on love, somewhere, he was struggling with his heart after the divorce. He also shared that last year, he was meeting a lot of people, but when things progressed, he would run away. However, he fell in love with his present girlfriend within a week.

On the work front, Aamir is seeking out good opportunities. Though he feels that he is not getting the kind of roles he wants to play, Aamir is not in a hurry. In 2024, Aamir Ali starred in two web series – Lootere and Doctors.
