Leo song Anbenum’s release date revealed with new poster

Seven Screen Studio, the makers of Leo, has been hitting the bull’s-eye with promotions. Since the start of the film, there has been a steady flow of updates about it, which has kept the fans entertained. With about nine days to go for the theatrical release of the Vijay-starrer, the team is set to release the third song from the film titled “Anbenum”.

The announcement came with a witty line from the production house, “Metals lam keela vachitu, petals ah kaila edupom (Let’s put down the metals (weapons) and take up petals (flowers).” This quip and the poster featuring Parthi (Vijay), his wife (Trisha), and their daughter, pretty much sets up the tone of the song.

Looks like we are in for a melody from Anirudh Ravichander, who churned out a similar number, “Rathamaarey”, in Rajinikanth’s Jailer.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Leo follows the story of a chocolatier in Kashmir named Parthi, who is harassed by a gang that claims he is someone else, a man with a history of violence. Other than Vijay and Trisha, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, and Gautham Vasudev Menon in important roles. Leo will be released in theatres on October 19.
