Confirmed: Sathyaraj joins Salman Khan and AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar

Sathyaraj, widely recognized for his portrayal of Kattappa in the Baahubali movies, has joined the cast of Salman Khan's Sikandar.

It is now confirmed that Sathyaraj, widely recognized for his memorable portrayal of Kattappa in the Baahubali franchise, has joined the cast of Salman Khan’s upcoming film Sikandar. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the movie marks the first collaboration of Salman and director AR Murugadoss.

Sathyaraj, known for his versatility, began filming for Sikandar alongside Prateik Babbar. The new development was shared by the production house, which posted a photo of Sathyaraj and Prateik with director Murugadoss. The caption of the post on X read, “We’re elated to welcome you on board #Sathyaraj sir! Honoured to have you in team #Sikandar. Happy to collaborate with our very own @prateikbabbar once again! And we can’t wait for everyone to experience this cinematic excellence on the big screens!”

Sikandar, which promises to be the comeback film of AR Murugadoss, also has Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. The film, produced under the Nadiadwala Grandson banner, is slated for an Eid 2025 release.

Other than Sikandar, Sathyaraj is also confirmed to be part of Rajinikanth’s Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film marks the reunion of Rajini and Sathyaraj after decades.
